I am so impressed by the online learning process of Glory Singapore International School during the COVID pandemic. The teachers arrive to teach on time for every subject, just like when they are at school. There are appropriate activities that are conducive to online learning and homework is given consistently to ensure that students are on track. What’s even more impressive is that there is constant and consistent communication between parents and all subject teachers. If there are ever any questions or concerns from parents, there is always an open channel of communication. Teachers and staff will respond very quickly to help answer questions and resolve concerns. I think this is extremely good for the development of the child. Another point that I find very impressive and is a shining point for Glory Singapore International School is Khun Orasa. Even though she is the founder of the school, she has a special relationship with each and every child and always finds time to be present for the students. She also has a special relationship with each parent and is considerate to their needs. She encourages open communication between teachers and parents to ensure that the students receive the utmost benefit from their learning environment. Our oldest child transferred during P1 which caused some concerns as to whether she would be able to adjust into her new environment. With the constant support, encouragement and positive advice from Khun Orasa, our child was able to transition into her new school with ease. Furthermore, the curriculum and teaching method is adjusted to each child so that they can reach their full potential. Now, my child is in P2 and not only does she study from a rigorous curriculum, she also gets to learn lifelong values, spearheaded by Khun Orasa. She has gained confidence by constantly being encouraged to participate in all the extracurricular activities that the school provides. As parents, we are so thrilled to see that our child is happy going to school, that she has improved her language skills and that she is surrounded by a positive environment, created by her teachers and peers. We are so happy and confident in this school that we have decided to enroll our youngest child this academic year.
在这次疫情期间，光辉新加坡国际学校提供的网络课程让我印象深刻， 非常满意。每位老师都按时上课，就像在学校里一样。在网络课堂中， 老师们也会组织各种各样的活动让学生参与进来。而且， 下课后也有家庭作业让学生们可以复习功课。另外最让我感受深刻的是， 在网课期间，各门课程的老师和家长之间也一直保持着联系和交流。 如果学生或者家长有任何问题，都可以直接联系老师， 并且得到老师快速的回复。我觉得这样可以非常有效率地解决各种问题， 并且可以让家长很好地了解学生的学习情况。 另外，让我印象深刻并且非常赞赏的就是光辉新加坡国际学校的校长 Khun Orasa女士。她不仅是学校的高层管理者， 同样也了解关心每位学生和家长，帮助解决家长的疑惑和问题。 她一直支持家长和学校之间保持紧密联系， 就是为了达成让学生可以更好地成长的目标。 我的大女儿刚转来这里上一年级的时候， 对各门课程都要经历一个适应的过程。 在那段时间，我们得到了Khun Orasa的建议和鼓励， 让我们和孩子都可以顺利地度过那段适应期。 除此之外，学校还针对学生的学习状况提供了不同的额外基础课程， 这可以很好地帮助学生巩固和提升他们的短板课程。 现在，我的孩子已经上二年级了， 除了学的知识变深之外，Khun Orasa还加强了对学生的道德教育。 另外学校还组织了各种活动，给学生提供了展示自己的机会， 让他们可以有平台更勇敢地表达自己的想法，展示自己的才能。 作为父母，我们看到孩子在学习中获得快乐，我们自然也就快乐和欣慰。 现在，我的孩子在语言学习方面有了很大的进步。 各位老师和同学们也都很友好，让我的孩子可以有一个快乐的学习环境。 所以我们决定把第二个孩子也送来光辉新加坡国际学校学习。
